We've made some changes to the way activities sync from the Concep platform into InterAction. Specifically, these changes apply to the retry logic. If every activity syncs correctly on the initial sync, you won't notice the speed improvements. This only applies if an activity cannot be associated to a contact in CRM on the first sync, causing the retry logic to kick in.
Previously, if an activity sync failed, we would retry by checking every contact in the sync to see if the activity had been previously inserted. This query was taking place in CRM. Now, to streamline the process, we have moved the check into our platform where we are able to quickly find any contacts a campaign was sent to but were not identified in CRM.
For an activity sync containing 10,010 sent activites, here's how the new logic compared against the old in our speed tests*:
*This test was run in our controlled QA environment, so speeds may differ slightly in a live CRM instance.
