The sender profile is the contact from whom your email communication is sent. The sender profile is the first item to set when building your email campaign and choosing the correct one to use will encourage your contacts to engage with your communication.
The sender profile can be a group identity, such as Concep Client Experience Team, or a specific person within that team, such as Alexandra Duncalf or Jacob Macdonald.
As an example, if your business is making an important announcement you could have your email communication coming from the business as a whole or from the CEO depending on which sender profile you use.
As another, if your company's premiere annual event is coming up you can have the invitation be sent from the business' managing partner or the business itself.
The sender profile decision will often come down to how your business wants to promote the particular content that is being sent out. However, when thinking about the amount of email your contacts receive every day using a person profile, rather than a business unit one, may be the nudge needed to get your recipient to engage with the email when it hits their inbox.
There is no limit to the number of profiles you can have in your Concep Send accounts, so you can always try using a different profile to see if you get more engagement with one or the other.
There is also another sender profile to note, which is the system sender. By default you'll be set up with this option, it'll give you the option to enter something in the 'from' section and then will be followed by the domain.
When you have both options activated to your account, you'll get to pick from either of them (profile email address or system email address) when creating a campaign.
When profile email address has been selected, the 'from' field will no longer show, as the campaign will be directly sent out and show as the profile address.
When system email address is selected, the 'from' field will reappear and allow you to insert anything before the domain and the 'name' will come from the profile.
These will combine, and show in the inbox as the below:
