Ensure that you are in the Concep Send Group that you wish to import your InterAction contacts in to – this will allow you reference back to which folders you imported and sent campaigns to.
Then, click the ‘Import From InterAction’ button to open a window displaying your active folders, grouped by type. You can search for folders using the search bar and select one or more folders to import.
Note: You cannot proceed if no folders are selected.
Once you have selected your folders, proceed to the next step to begin mapping your fields. The left column shows your Send fields, including Custom Fields, and the right column allows you to map the available InterAction fields, including folder specific fields.
You can map fields for each folder you have selected to import, but 4 fields will have a default value:
- Contact ID will always be exported and mapped to the ‘External Contact ID’ field
- First Name, Last Name and Primary Email will be mapped by default but can be edited

During any stage of the field mapping process, you can click 'Marketing Lists' to go back to the list selection step.
Once you have mapped your desired fields and folders, the ‘Confirm and import’ step lets you review the data that will be imported. When you’re ready, click ‘Import’ to begin importing your selected InterAction folder(s) into the chosen Concep Send Group.

While the import is in progress, the ‘Import from InterAction’ will display as ‘Import Progress’.
Clicking ‘Import Progress’ will display a pop-up with a progress bar that indicates which folder is currently being processed.
When the import is complete, a pop-up will appear to indicate this and state if any folders failed to import. You can click ‘Refresh’ to refresh your browser window to show your imported contacts or close the pop-up.
Note: If another Concep Send user in your organization is using List Management, the ‘Import Progress’ button will display, and you will not be able to use it until their import is complete. You will be able to click ‘Import Progess’ and check how the status of their import.
This is to avoid sending simultaneous requests to the InterAction server with which may impact the performance of InterAction or List Management.
