Perhaps you have merged with another company, or maybe you just want to have multiple senders on your account. Making a custom field in your sender profile makes it easy for you to choose which name appears as a sender in your Campaigns. This can be achieved by following the steps below.
Firstly, go into Contacts and click the Advanced drop down menu on the right hand side.
Click into Manage Custom Fields then click Add Field.
As in the example above, type in what you would like to name your custom field then click Add.
Once you have done that, go back into your contacts and find the specified user, click the drop down menu and click Edit. This can also be done in bulk by importing contacts, simply add the custom field to a column in your spreadsheet. Information on how to import contacts in bulk can be found here.
Once you have selected Edit, click into Custom Fields and type in the name that you want shown in the email.
To get the Custom Sender option in your profile, go into the body of text in your Campaign and click Insert > Recipient Details and scroll down to Custom Fields then click the field you created. [customsender] or whatever the field has been named will then be inserted into the body of text. You can then copy this and go to Manage Profiles.
Paste the [customsender] into the Name category and fill the Email field with the email you want in the profile.
Then, the profile should change to your Custom Field and you can send your Campaign with your new profile.
