The Email Score is a number automatically calculated by the system to indicate how engaged your audience are with your campaigns - based on interactions:

In Microsoft Dynamics CRM there are three Email Scores available;
Email Campaign Activity score - This is calculated based on all interactions taken by recipients of a specific email campaign.
Contact Engagement score – This is calculated based on the average of an individual engagement score across all email campaigns which s/he has been sent.
Global score – This score is the average score across all contacts.
